The Retro Fit Leaf Relief is used when the gutter has already been installed. Then just place the front lip of the Retro Fit Leaf Relief over the top lip of the gutter and fasten in with 3/8" stainless screws. The back edge of the Retro Fit Leaf Relief has an expander strip that is pushed towards the fascia board and using the 3/8" stainless screws to toenail the back expander in.
